Last summer, WomenGive San Diego commissioned a report to explore how best to meet the unique needs of women and girls in San Diego County. An analysis of earnings, employment trends and poverty rates at the national, state and local levels reveal that inequalities persist even as women's participation and penetration in the economy broadens.
